Have you ever heard of House Partys? It is a new way manufactures are getting their product out. All you have to do is go to a website and apply. Then if you are a match they will award you the party, then you throw a party on their dime (except the food). I was able to do a Gerber one. It was a blast. I received a lot of information for everyone and great goody bags (insulated bag, 3 drinks, 2 babyfoods, 8 yogurts, 1 cereal bar, information, and coupons), balloons, plates, napkins, cups, and goodies to display (that I got to keep). I invited a lot of people unfortunetely not many were able to come, but the up side was I got the left over goodies.

My Weekend
I know it is already Wednesday and I am just posting about my weekend, but I haven’t had time to post.

Last Thursday Tim, Andalynn (a work friend) and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert. I heart Rascal Flatts. I told Tim last year I wanted tickets and they came the day before my big race so I couldn’t go. When I found out they were coming this year I made sure we got tickets and it was an awesome concert. Their stage was insane, the music was amazing and they put on a great show! I would HIGHLY recommend attending one of their concerts. I plan on saving my money to sit closer next year so I can have a better look at Joe Don.
Friday started out great with having the day off and Tim letting me sleep in until 10. That was great! That afternoon I took Noah for his wellness checkup. He is 39 inches (95%) and 34 lbs (75%). She said he was very healthy and talked like a 4 year old. While we were out we decided to go on a mommy date. There was a free kids fair going on so we headed there. Noah had a blast! He rode bikes, played games, met Star Wars guys, and had his face painted like Spider Man. It was great spending a day with just Noah. I need to do that more often.
Now I can’t wait for the next weekend to see what it brings.

Happp Birthday to me. . .
It was my birthday over the weekend and the weekend was great! It started off with a delicious lunch at Paradise Bakery with the girls at work. I love that place! Then that evening we went to dinner with my in laws, to the Trio. It is an Italian restaurant. I had never been there before but my brother-in-law had a big bike race the next day and I know the need for pasta the night before. It was a yummy dinner and great company. Saturday I hit the pavement around 8:00 so I could get a good run in before I eat A LOT of calories that day (I must love food cause so far that is all my birthday has been about). After my 6 mile run, we got ready for the day, dropped Noah off at his Grandma’s and Tim and I headed for the Cheesecake Factory. I love that restaurant and have not dared to attempt to fight the crowds in Utah yet (so we should up as the doors opened). We had an amazing lunch with yummy cheesecake for desert, and then we were off to do a little shopping before it was time to pick Noah up. I got a gift card to ‘Name Droppers’ (I have never heard of the place either, but it is like a TJ Maxx for the rich – really high end) I got these great Donald J Pliner shoes. They were marked down to $72 from $220. Still a little pricey for my taste but with a gift card they weren’t.
Then we picked Noah up and went and enjoyed some Vitamin D while Noah splashed around in his pool. In the evening we hit the mall and I got my purse (shown with the shoes).
The next day we had dinner at my dad’s. This is where I got spoiled with TONS of presents (clothes, shoes, running shoes, jeweler, etc)
It will go down as one of my best weekends, and to top it off Tim did the housework! ! ! That makes the weekend GREAT!
